Hawkesbury Police would like to warn the Community of a possible scam.. There has been a report of an Asian sounding male calling home phone numbers claiming to be from Telstra. The caller stated someone had been trying to access the computer belonging to the residence and he needed to check the computer to make sure it was safe. The call recipient stated he would return the phone call when he had turned his computer on and asked the caller for his return phone number. The caller responded with a phone number containing to many digits raising further suspicion. The call was terminated shortly after. Hawkesbury Police remind all residence never to provide their personal details over the phone for any reason.
