Hawksbill Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation As a part of Ocean Adventures corporate social responsibility in Sea Turtle Research, Rescue & Rehabilitation Program, below is the story of a rescued Hawksbill sea turtle that was brought to Ocean Adventure by Pawikan Conservation Center in Morong, Bataan. Ocean Adventure received a rescued hawksbill sea turtle from the Pawikan Conservation Center (PCC) last month for medical care. The turtle arrived very weak and emaciated. After a series of tests, it was diagnosed to have ingested a foreign body. Pieces of trash such as cotton fiber, nylon string, and straw were collected from the gut of the animal in a period of four weeks. The turtle is gradually gaining strength but is still not eating. It will be returned back to PCC for documentation and release once it has regained its strength and deemed releasable.
