Hay folks. Looking to pick some brains if thats ok. This is Tia. She turned 8 in April and has not been spayed. Usually she is the centre of everything with oodles of energy. Last month we took her to the vet because she just wasnt herself - lethargic, very quiet, a little off her feed etc. Also, her posture changed a little - she almost looked hunched up and reluctant to look up. Two or three times she squeaked when we picked her up and she was having trouble jumping down. Vet did a full examination plus bloods and scan and xray and couldnt find anything wrong. They gave us some antibiotics, metacam and zantac. She often has a spot of trouble with her anal glands - when they are needing emptied she gets a bit horny (!) and this behavior is coming in between the bouts of lethargy. Initially we thought the metacam was helping but shes back to square one. She has an appointment with the vet tomorrow but Im just wondering if it sounds familiar to anyone? On top of this she is grieving for her best friend who we lost last week. Any thoughts much appreciated. Thanks x
