Hayfever season getting you down? Yesterday, a focused Reiki - TopicsExpress

Hayfever season getting you down? Yesterday, a focused Reiki treatment was effective in arresting someones sneeze and cough for a good amount of time. Tonight, a Facebook friend, not a Reiki practitioner, gained instant relief by attention and imagination in a certain way. Want to try it? Cant hurt, might help! Do this: Your nose and throat are suffering because you think theres no place for the itching and running to escape, right? The symptoms are confined in a small space behind your face, causing great discomfort. No place for them to go? Well, there may be no obvious physical space for your distress to escape to, but you can create imaginary space for it. Imagine that your nasal passages, instead of dark narrow tunnels, are like a fuzzy dandelion sphere. Imagine the breeze picking up the seeds by their fluffy ends, and carrying them into the much larger sphere of free air around you. Hold that thought, physically centered behind and below your nose. Play with it however you like, imagining dancing ponies or fluttering fairies in a widening circle, creating free mind space around your whole head. Let your breath make the circle/sphere larger with each inhale, and lighter with each exhale. When you find a good shape and size, let your breath maintain. Just watch, see how your imagery transforms and unfolds. Be silly about it, no one else can see what youre doing! In simple terms, you focus your attention in the exact spot of the most irritation. Then, you allow your self-awareness to expand outward from that spot, until relief becomes noticeable and sufficient for you. If it did work for you, isnt that cool? Share your experience in the comments? If it didnt, dont worry, just try something else -- Im not a guru, just a curious self-healing seeker like many of us. You might try Tommys Heart Tap -- same thing, cant hurt, might help! jeffreiki.wordpress/2013/10/20/tommys-heart-tap/
