Hazardous Communication: Gossip is Discretely engaging in character assassination. The intent is to Demean, Debase, Embarrass and to Humiliate. The intent is to manipulate others into thinking and treating another person negatively. It is socially condoned Ostracism. The same kind of Mercy you show someone else is the same kind of Mercy God will show you. A friend covers you - a friend defends you - a friend does not expose your faults to others, a friend does not dishonor you publicly. When you intentionally stir up mess among friends, by defaming, taking things out of context, and spreading corrosive information - it creates a Hostile Environment which ALWAYS leads to Acute Toxicity among friends. When your friend falls, or does something wrong - this is an opportunity to show Love and Mercy. Protect your friends reputation. Publicly be loyal to your friend, cover your friend - dont Shame them, dont expose their nakedness to the world. So, YOU put down that Stone. Thats right, let the stone fall right out of your hand.
