Hazaribag, Ramgarh to get e-governance system Hazaribag and Ramgarh districts are the first in the state to be selected for e-governance under e-district scheme in Jharkhand for disposal of Centre sponsored schemes, said secretary of Information Technology N N Sinha at a training programme organized in the conference room of the divisional commissioner of the North Chhotonagpur division here on Tuesday. Besides the DCs of Hazaribag and Ramgarh Sunil Kumar and Sunil Kumar Singh respectively, other top officials of the two districts were also present at the programme. The IT secretary also announced that under this scheme 30 of the 50 Centre sponsored schemes have been linked with the Pragya Kendras connected to all panchayats of the two districts. He advised beneficiaries to send their applications through the panchayats, which will save them from harassment. After receiving all the applications from the beneficiaries, petitions will be processed speedily and applicants will be informed through SMS, by the Pragya Kendras to be set up in their respective panchayats, about the latest status of their applications. Once this scheme is implemented successfully red tape will be over and it will immensely help the poor beneficiaries get the benefits provided by the central government. The DC Hazaribag Sunil Kumar said, The programme in the two districts have been launched on an experimental basis and will be rolled out in December. After this it will be implemented in all the districts of the state, said Sinha. The work for implementing the schemes in all the blocks and panchayats of the two districts has started in full swing.
