Hazon Paul Roesner of Shelburne, Ontario. Born July 11, 1932 in Stratford, Ontario. Surrounded by his family, finished his hard fought journey on this earth and passed peacefully over into paradise on Thursday, January 23, 2014 in his 82nd year. Beloved husband of 57 years to Betty, devoted Dad of Reg, Ruth Ann (Scott McConnell), and Rose Marie (Ron Lucas). Proud Papa of Thomas, Josh and Rachel McConnell, Tara Mino (Jon Byart) and Tyler Lucas. Predeceased by his parents, Wilhelm (Bill) and Anna Roesner, and his brothers Howard, Norval, and Leonard Roesner. As per his wishes no funeral service will be held. Memorial will take place at a later date. Future interment to take place at the Avondale Cemetery in Stratford, Ontario. Donations in Hazon’s memory came be made to the Palliative Care Unit at Headwaters Health Care Centre in Orangeville headwatershealth.ca, Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society cancer.ca. The family is so thankful to the passionate and wonderful nursing care Hazon received from the Bayshore Home Health providers Wendy, Yazmin and Rhonda and the Headwaters Palliative Care Unit Nursing staff.
