He Knows Its a good thing God sees whats on the inside. As good as we are at masking, dressing up the outside, and saying, Im fine wed be a lost cause if God wasnt all knowing. But God knows. He sees past the nice clothes and the painted on smile. He hears the whole story behind, Im fine and Im blessed and highly favored. Thank God we dont have to front and pretend with Him. We can go to Him transparent, broken, confused, weary, afraid, lonely, and repentant and He will not be surprised at our condition. He will be pleased that we finally came. No you dont have to look like what youre going through but looking good doesnt mean youre not going through it. Lipstick doesnt cure lonely. Jewelry doesnt fix jealousy. Weave wont cure weariness or worry. Dont dress up a mess. Take it to Him, let His Word encourage you, let Him really make it alright. Arent you tired of pretending? Are you really ok? If youre not really fine and ok, this ones for you. JMO 2013
