He Sapa Wacipi Pow Wow Singing Contest Error Would like to thank those who inboxed me for bringing it to my attention for a discrepancy in the singing contest. With that Id like to acknowledge an error that got past me this weekend that led to Ironboy erroneously taking 1st place in the singing contest. When entering points I inadvertently added another 0, turning a 7 into a 70. Ive posted the screenshot of the proofing sheets that show that error. Like I always state the data entry that we do for singing contest is always proofed by any committee which was done in this case but still got past 3 different error checking routines that I do.. Regardless I am the last line of error checking and take full responsibility. Id like to personally apologize to Mandaree and Ironboy for diminishing their great singing this past weekend. Below is the correct results that shows Mandaree winning by 5 points when the points are corrected. Your Offical winners of the singing contest is Mandaree. The He Sapa Wacipi Committee will be paying the difference to Mandaree for 1st place win. The Committee will be recognizing them as the offical winners as well.
