He Sends His Angels...Jesus went out as usual to the Mount of Olives, and his disciples followed him. On reaching the place, he said to them, Pray that you will not fall into temptation. He withdrew about a stones throw beyond them, knelt down and prayed, Father, if it be your will, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done. An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him. And being in anguish, he prayed more earnestly, and his sweat was like drops of blood falling to the ground (Luke 22:1-3). Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by doing so some people have entertained angels without knowing it ( Hebrews 13:2). Some Christians think that its a sign of weakness to be in anguish over troubles we are facing. Although Jesus wanted to do the will of God, he was not looking forward to the pain that he was about to face on the cross. The more sorrowful he became, the harder he prayed. God does not always remove the trouble, but He always provide the strength. We dont have to look forward to what we must go through. But we can find peace by knowing, and believing, that God will always send an angel to give us the strength that we need. And as the pain gets harder, we should pray even harder. God is going to send you an angel today. Be careful not to turn him away. Be a blessing to someone today. And remember, whatever your question, the answer is in the Word of God. Have a blessed Wednesday.
