He cited the case of former Supreme Court Lord President Tun Salleh Abas in 1988, who was impeached by a special tribunal of judges appointed by the Government. Mat Zain called on Putrajaya to set up a tribunal to investigate the allegations against Gani, as provided for under the Federal Constitution. I hope that Putrajaya does not use the excuse that because I have not lodged a police report, they will not form a Royal Commission of Inquiry to conduct a thorough probe into why Malaysia lost Pulau Batu Puteh to Singapore, Mat Zain said.
