He could have called ten thousand angels to destroy the world and set him free....but he died alone for you and me. I cant really think about Jesus dying on the cross for me and loving me THAT much without it bringing tears to my eyes. I dont think we really can grasp how great Gods love is for us. Its so easy to get wrapped up in the cares of this world and our day to day lives and not really stop and think about how good God is. God, help me to keep my eyes on you and your goodness and to not get my eyes on troubles and cares. I often think about Peter and how...when he kept his eyes on you...he walked on the water. But, when he took his eyes off you and looked down at the water, he sank. Help me to keep my eyes on you, Lord, and trust you.
