He got up from his chair once again to brew yet another cup of coffee. While pushing the plunger of his french press he briefly contemplated the possibility of administering coffee intravenously to save time but then dropped the line of thought when he realised that he wont be able to taste his favourite beverage this way. Returning to his desk, he looked at the two screens staring back at him. Still lost in thoughts he picked up his last remaining cigarette and lit it almost extinguising the matchstick in his coffee. Life and Work - two four-letter words that I get more than the original four-letter word these days., he grumbled to himself and removed the rest of the world from his mind to get back to the task at hand. - odd piece of senseless writing by me.
