He has been through so much....RYDER needs us NOW more than ever. This is the PERFECT time to work on getting these MORE URGENT like dogs shared! RYDER needs special training more than anything else to make in a new home. His nervous nature makes him hard to place and the shelter has his mind all twisted up! We could possibly get him into training at The Calm K9 with Curtis Craig for board and train who could really help this guy, but it would take lots donations and an adopter to be ready to get him when the training is over - he can NOT come back to the shelter once Curtis works his magic. Ryder knows sit, shake, high-five, and down (but will only stay down long enough to get the treat). He was a housedog at one time and was housebroken, but when they moved he was forced to live outside on a chain which is no life for a dog. Ryder must be crated when left alone or he will gladly find any shoes left out and remind you why they need to be put up! He has been around other dogs of all sizes and never had any issues, but can play a bit rough and jump on other dogs which can be too much for most dogs. Around kids, he can be overly playful and may accidentally knock a small child over and therefore would be best in a home with older children. Ryder loves being around people, going for car rides,and learning new things. Please pledge to help RYDER in hopes that a perfect home will be found and he can be saved.
