He has made us accepted in the beloved. (Ephesians 1:6). Our salvation is the result of the grace and love of God. Some claim that God’s love will allow all people into heaven. They separate the love of God from the Son of God. This is heresy. To deny the virgin birth, the sinless life, the sacrificial death, the victorious resurrection, and the visible return of Jesus while trying to maintain God’s love for man is ludicrous. It is only in the Beloved that we truly see the love of God. Jesus was in the bosom of the Father from all eternity. No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him. (John 1:18). For all eternity the Father and Son have enjoyed and fully shared unmixed and perfect love and glory. From that glory God the Father sent the Son. The Father sent the Son to be the Savior of the world. (1 John 4:14). This is how we perceive the great love of the Father in that He sent His Beloved Son upon such a terrible errand, and for such wicked people! He had sent prophets, lawgivers, and priests, but finally He sent His Son. When the fullness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, (Galatians 4:4). Prayer: Father, thank You for sending Your Son to secure our acceptance with You. Amen.
