He is more information about the story I posted early about Odin Maggart. Please read this, pass it on, and try to get Advanced Boarding and Grooming to understand what they did was wrong. "I was in the Kennel for the weekend while my owner went to visit her family out of state. After a big dinner I went out to play and my stomach flipped. I lay on the bottom of the kennel for about 16 hours in pain. My stomach was bloated, about 4 times the regular size. I was in too much pain to stand up or eat or drink. The people that worked at the kennel noticed that I was ill but did not call my owner or the vet. When my mom came to get me I was near unconscious. The girl who worked at the kennel told my mom that I was fine and I probably just needed my favorite toy. She then yanked on my collar to try to get me to stand up. My mom recognized that I was near death and called out for help. Another person working at the kennel said there may not be enough time to take me to the vet. My mom rushed me there and after hours (and $8000) of surgery, the surgeons could not save me. They said that if I was brought in earlier I would have survived the surgery. My mom later found out that the people working at Advanced Boarding and Grooming have no training in animal first aid or any training at all. If they would have just called my mom or the vet or had some training, I would still be alive. Advanced Boarding and Grooming have not taken any responsibility for their actions. The surgeons wrote in their report that this did not have to end fatally if Advanced Boarding and Grooming would have called my mom or the vet. My mom was diagnosed with stage 3C ovarian cancer three years ago. After surgeries, chemo and many blood transfusions she has been informed that the cancer has spread to her lungs. I am the reason that my mom would wake up in the morning. I was the reason that she would get out of bed. She enjoyed our daily walks and out Saturday mornings in the park. Without me I am worried that she will not have the motivation to keep going. She was the world to me and I was the world to her. There are many tragedies in the world, but I do think that this one is worth sharing. Thank you for sharing my story!"
