He is received up into heaven, He was an object for the blessings to the many on that stage; after a couple of minutes, thousands of people’s hearts were broken by the devastating news originating from the same stage. This is a heart-rending grief for the People of God. He did a good thing in front of God and the people but bad thing happened to him. We weren’t expecting this; No one expected this shocking tragic event. How come? Why do bad things happen to good people? Why? We wont be able to say why this thing is happening in this situation, but we will be able to speak about general principles that can lead us to understand the workings of a good God. The way we usually perceive things is like this: A good life means that I make a comfortable living, I enjoy good health, and then I die peacefully at age 80 or 100. Thats a good life. Anything else is bad. In a limited sense, thats true. But if we have a soul and there is such a thing as eternity, then that changes the picture entirely. Eighty years in the face of eternity is not such a big deal. Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. እግዚአብሔርንም ለሚወዱት እንደ አሳቡም ለተጠሩት ነገር ሁሉ ለበጎ እንዲደረግ እናውቃለን። Dear Gedi, Our hearts and prayers are with you and your family.
