He landed and is safe in Brazil!! Oi Como vai. The question mark button is not working because it is a Portuguese computador , entao(so) I won’t ask questions until I figured things somewhat figured out. But man it was so good to hear from the family yesterday and I did follow your advice and kept my head high and as I was keeping my head up high I got to my gate and met up with 2 other missionaries that have been waiting also. They have been out as long as me so it was comforting that there were others. Ended up being 5 missionaries on the flight to Brazil and man was that flight long! I was super stoked though, I sat next to someone who is from Brazil, i introduced myself and we started talking in Portuguese. Okay, it wasn’t fluent, but he said my Portuguese was good and he was really nice to me. We talked for half an hour in Portuguese and after that my head hurt. His name is Jean and I was able to talk with him about the church and teach him the word of wisdom. There were two pass along cards in our passport and I handed out both of them. I met a lady who worked for the airport in MN and I gave the other card to Jean. I only got two hours of sleep on the plane because it was noisy and then there were those tvs( that was the worst) Everywhere I looked people were watching movies and my eyes had nowhere to rest. I couldn’t sleep comfortably, so when we arrived....let’s just say I am pooped. Brazil....it’s awesome, just flying in and looking at the cities and homes, it looks like what you see in the movies. Drivers are crazy and Sao Paulo is soo big, the city never ends. It just keeps going and going and going. Being in a different country is different and now we are at the CTM (also known as the MTC) ready to learn some language skills!
