He left the town of Malitu, and started his hunt. By the - TopicsExpress

He left the town of Malitu, and started his hunt. By the afternoon, when the sun was highest in the sky, he moved off the road. He was tracking deer, and moose through the forest, but could not find any trace of them. It was nightfall, and all the birds were asleep, with the occasional hooting of the owls. It is dead in these forests. He thought to himself. He wondered if he would find anything this night. He tracked on, looking for tracks that he could not find. Even old tracks, tracks that he could not rely on could not be found. Very curious. It seems as if there has not been any creatures on this side of the village in a long time. That was different last month. He looked up, and when the moonlight shone through the trees, it revealed a deer out in a small opening. He took an arrow out, pointed at it and shot, but he was too late. The deer moved, and with what would have killed the deer instantly only sent it running. The arrow had only pierced its hind leg. He ran after it, instantly taking out another arrow, his horse and carriage soon followed. He followed the deer on the other side of the Glenwood road. He had noticed some torches lying around, as if there was a camp here. He stopped. He looked around to see the bodies of slain bodies. These bodies were that of Goblins. Well I do not think Malitu need worry about bandits for a good time now. He thought to himself. He looked around the encampment, he found nothing useful. Who would go off the road and just slaughter an encampment of goblins. This does not make any sense whatsoever. He marched deeper into the forest. His legs were surrounded by a cool mist. He had his bow out and continued walking through the mist. This forest had slanted downward into a swamp, and he walked down it. The mist dispersed revealing what appeared to be the walls of the city. What in the name of Unverdus is this! He never once closed his eyes. He kept down to the swamp and looked for an opening. He came in through a small break in the wall. The buildings and ground had been covered in moss. With every step he took, he could feel the water seep in through his shoes. He watched every corner he crossed, and saw nothing move, but what appeared to be skeletons in which their bones were also covered in moss. These ruins look like they have been gone for nearly thousands of years. He walked deeper into the center of the city, not knowing what it was, or where he was. He took caution with every step. He continued until he saw what appeared to be a castle. Steps crawled up to large double doors. He went up those steps and entered inside. He kept his horse and carriage outside the castle. He beheld a throne room, and walked deeper. He saw one room to the side with an odd green light glowing from inside it, but was more intrigued in a hallway that appeared to be right behind the actual throne. He took no notice of what else was in the room. He walked into the hallway until he came to a dungeon. Inside the cells were dead or dying people. Those who were dead were already rotting. The rest that were there, groaned as the blood poured out of their bodies. He was startled by the rattling of chains. He looked up and saw several cages with people, in a mangled form. They had been moving around their cages like a caged animal, just waiting for an escape. Where am I? He thought to himself. “You are...in ...Terra Silenti...” said a voice. He turned around sharply, and saw a woman, wearing a green cloak, leaning on a sword with jagged edges. “Who are you?” he replied. His eyes shifted towards the sword, he had never seen one of its make before. It made him afraid.
