He named his daughter Zelda. I named my son Link. He wasnt a celebrity to me… He wasnt just a comedian to me… He was an idol to me. He was everything I looked up to what a human being should be. He was everything I wished for in a father figure when I had no one to look up to. He was real, when my comic book heroes were not. If they made a church in worship of him I would… probably mock and make fun of everyone who attended but secretly support them in my own dysfunctional way. He was one of the most brilliant men to walk this earth. His brilliance was not used to find the secrets to the universe or ruin lives for personal gain. His brilliance and creativity was used solely to put a smile on your face… on my face… and he succeeded. I will miss him more then I can ever explain, more then I will ever admit, and more then I probably really should for someone I have never personally met. Today August 11, 2014 millions of people across the world morn the loss of one of the worlds greatest men. But we will keep smiling for you, Robin Williams.
