He sleeps. I breathe. All the kids made it to school. Gray is at work. The house is quiet except for the soft snore coming from Brads room and the background noise of the tv. Our family has been through the fire this past month, having unimaginably tough conversations with siblings and family members. Brad always being the big brother and protector telling all its ok and I love you. His eyes still dance with love and his hugs are still strong. God is still doing miracles every day. We have had meals made for us, baskets of goodies left at our door, and love offering to ease the financial strain. WE know God is loving us through this. Brad is now having to use a walker and a wheelchair to get around. He is in constant pain in his back, legs, and feet. Some days are better than others with the level of pain being only a 5. Yesterday he woke up screaming because the pain in his legs was a 12. I gave Brad some pain medicine, tried elevating his legs, massage, and a Teens unit. He grabbed my hand and said Mama, we have to pray. God thank you for this beautiful day that you have given us...... My son has cancer, he is in pain every day. My son praises God every day. Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ - Romans 5:1 #breakingbrad
