He spent 20 years listening to racially divisive sermons. He spent - TopicsExpress

He spent 20 years listening to racially divisive sermons. He spent 20 years listening to racially driven inflammatory sermons by way of a Reverend who damned this Country. He claims to have never heard such sermons, and while it is safe to assume his attendance over 20 years was not letter perfect, it begs credulity that only in his absence, were racially marked sermons offered. His name is Barack Obama, the most divisive POTUS, ever. Divisive on lines of income, of status, of ideology, and most definitely, on lines of race. More than a handful of his past, and present associates, are individuals of well more than questionable personal trait, they are a mix of racebaiters and domestic terrorists. He served from the State of West Virginia in The US House of Representatives from 1953-1959 and in the US Senate from 1959-2010, where he was Senate Minority Leader for two years and Senate Majority Leader for two years. His name is Robert Byrd, Democrat. In the early 1940s, he recruited 150 friends to form a Chapter of the Ku Klux Klan in Sophia, West Virginia and was elected leader, Exalted Cyclops, of the local Klan Chapter. In 1946, Byrd wrote to segregationist Mississippi Senator Theodore G. Bilbo: I shall never fight in the armed forces with a negro by my side ... Rather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the wilds. No Democrat ever called for his dismissal on such an association, often saying, well that was then, this is now. Besides, so went the Liberal narrative, he was simply a recruiter. Elected Exalted Cyclops is never mentioned by his apologists. Robert Byrd was no simple pitchman when it came to the Klan. In 1987, 15 year old Tawana Brawley of Wappingers Falls, NY, accused 6 white men of gang raping her, including police officers and a prosecuting attorney. In support of Brawley, Al Sharpton accused Dutchess County prosecutor, Steven Pagones, of racism and being a perpetrator in the alleged abduction and rape. Seven months later, a Grand Jury dismissed all charges against the accused. Attorneys for Brawley, Alton Maddox and C. Vernon Mason, joining Sharpton in the accusations against Pagone, were ordered to pay $345,000 for defamation, with Sharpton guilty on 7 counts, Maddox 2 counts and Mason 1 count. Sharpton refused to pay his portion of the fine. In addition to that defiance of a Court Order, Sharpton owes, according to The New York Times, $4.5 million in state and federal taxes as of November 2014. Sharpton, a man of the most unsavory character, is Obamas go-to-man on race relations and has visited The White House 61 times. And no Democrat calls Obama on such an unbecoming association. Twelve years ago, while a Member of The Louisiana State House of Representatives, House Majority Whip Steve Scalise, R-LA, made an appearance before a white supremacy group. Despite no votes as a Louisiana State Rep or as a Member of The US House of Representatives to accommodate or support such a group , Liberals are hair pulling over that event, some calling for him to step aside. The reports of the 2002 speech raised questions about his GOP leadership position and drew harsh criticism from Democrats earlier Tuesday. Drew Hammill, spokesman for House Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, called the incident deeply troubling for a top Republican leader in the House. (FOX News). Yet when Rep. Rangel, D-NY, held a top post as Chairman of The House Ways and Means Committee, where tax laws are written, and had evaded taxes on rental properties, no such calls were offered by Democrats. From Obama to Byrd to Sharpton, to Rangel, Scalese and Rep. Grimm, R-NY, now stepping down over tax avoidance issues, the only common thread Democrats know is hypocrisy.
