He walked into our lives one day changing it forever. There was a job to be filled and he took it. He became a loving husband and amazing father always working hard to provide for us. Step father? No, he was more than a step father. He raised me and my two sisters just as we were his own. He did one heck of a job. I wouldnt be the person I am today without him. He taught us how to work hard. He didnt believe in missing work unless you literally couldnt get out of bed. If you wanted something you had to work for it. He taught us how to have fun. Always taking us to fun places like the omni theatre or out to the lake to fish. He taught us discipline. I cant even tell you how many spankings this bratty little child got. All deserved I know. Not to mention the numerous groundings I got as a teenager. That phase of thinking you know more than your parents. Most importantly he taught us how to love with all your heart even during the worst of times. You are not a family without those ups and downs that mold you. He was always there to ride the storm no matter how bad it seemed. Being a step parent myself I know how hard it can be. He never judged. Instead he would offer advice or tell a story from his crazy youth. He was the best father anyone could ask for and I miss him already. My heart is broken for an amazing man lost to soon. I love you Dad.
