He was in a little store, when over the PA they announced at 11:00 AM they were requesting two minutes of silence in honor of all Veterans. When 11:00 AM arrived, again they requested two minutes of silence to honor all Veterans. A man and his child ignored the request, tried to strike up a conversation with the clerk, they were so rude and disrespectful, the artist who was there, was moved to write this song.
