He was on to something.....But realize ....the CRIMINAL side of it all brought the house tumbling down...and ultimately , His death. His vision can STILL be realized WITHOUT resorting to crime and violence. We still wield power but We are unorganized with no focus. A million bricks alone, are just rubble. But , organized together, can be an impenetrable FORTRESS ! But the Gangsta mentality HAS TO GO ! Our political power is WASTED on the selfish, Me and Mine attitude We ,as a people, have adapted. The Notion of community is long lost among us right now. Our efforts have all been to take flight from our communities instead of building them up. Millions have made it out of the ghetto , but in our wake, we have left a broken People, OUR PEOPLE ! No one relishes, crime and poverty. But, truth be told, there simply are not enough jobs with LIVING wages to employ everyone in need of a job. Then We have systemic problems to contend with as well such as fairness in employment ,housing ,justice, et al. My Brother Clinton Johnson, often makes a very valid point, We need to clean our houses (communities) BEFORE we ask others to take a look at theirs, I feel it should be done simultaneously , as We ORGANIZE, We collectivize our political power and levy our strength for our needs in rebuilding our Communities. This is EVERY parents duty. What do You want to leave Your Children and Grandchildren ? A SAFE Community ? Or a drug riddled, poverty infested Ghetto......REGISTER TO VOTE....even if You have a criminal history, if You are NOT under the custody or control of the Department of Corrections, REGISTER TO VOTE....some of You are disenfranchised due to APATHY, You just need to spend an hour of Your day to go and fill out the form...#BEHEARD
