He was respecting the officer there was no fowl language or rude comments made tawords the officer the man was simply stating that he had the right to legally carry a gun the officer was disrespecting the gentleman by not knowing the state law. There are tons of officers that do not know there own state laws this student was in the right to tell the officer what the law was for a civilian to legally carry a gun. the officer thought from what I can see that he had the right to disarm a non threatening and legal civilian. It is illegal for an officer to dissarm a licensed carrier when he is not feeling threatened or when the civilian is not committing a crime. The gun was being legally carried by a citizen. Now to the people who call in situations like this because they are scared of a civilian who by the way was not threatening anyone carrying a gun need to learn and see the difference in whether or not he is dangerous. There is an old sayin that I was told when I was younger its not the gun that kills the people it is the person in possession of that gun.
