Headbangers Balls part 1 was a belting success and in no small part down to a cracking line up, supportive crowd and killer venue. But do want to tip my hat and say a massive congrats to Andy Verymetal Pilkington who is without doubt one of the most genuine people in the industry, building the HBB brand in order to give exposure to bands nationwide while never taking his eye of the soul reason for all the stress, that being the Teenage Cancer Trust. I get Andy, I get his frustration with minimal media interest and I get his frustration at bands that could go the extra yard to promote events. So mate on behalf of everyone who has benefited in some way from your endeavours I thank you. See you later brother for Part 2 - another sold out HBB in Birmingham. :)
