Headcannons for Beth! I walked along the woods with Gale who is like my best friend ever, but in the games Id have to act as my partners lover -Peeta Mellark. Katniss, I dont get how come you like him better than me., Gale says, clearly outraged. I shook my head, stashing my bow and arrow in a hollow log. I made my way to the fence-which was suppose to be electrified full time. I went between the wires, heading back to the Districts Victors houses. But before I coulf gale grabbed my arm, turning me to face him. Katniss.. he says softly. I sighed and said, Gale let go of me. No! Not until you tell me why you like him better than me! Gales voice shouts. At this point his grip on my arm tightened and I winced. I could see Peeta coming out of his house. He ran up to us and pried Gales grip off of me. Gale shoved Peeta, making threats but Peeta didn t back down. You need to leave right now, Gale. Peeta says sternly. Why? So you can have your way with her? Gale spits out. He shakes his head,I dont like her for that reason, all Im saying is that you need to cool off for a bit. Peeta says. Gale glares at Peeta, but then goes away. I turned to peeta what asked, Are you okay? Lets get youb inside. You need to rest. I nod and let him guide me to my bed. After a few seconds I grab his hand and say, Stay with me? Peeta nods and climbs into the bed, holding me to him. I quickly fall asleep, gearing him say softly,Always. How was it??~Primjay
