Headed to Minneapolis for work up week. We will be there Wed thru Friday and then get to come home for the weekend. We will get admitted on the 15th or 16th for high dose chemo and total body radiation which is the start of the transplant process. I am so nervous about this process as it is VERY difficult! I follow the caringbridge of another little boy who is going through the process now and has had so many side effects and difficulties with the treatment. It about makes me sick to know that we are possibly going to be dealing with these issues ourselves very soon! But, we know this is what we need to do. Tys cancer has proven to be resistant to the normal chemo treatment and even though the cancer is currently not detectable, we know it is only a matter of time before it would come back again. We can only hope and pray that Ty will be able to keep on fighting and get through this!! It will definitely be a battle!!! Thank you for continuing to follow us and support us during this difficult time! As I said before, I am SO behind on getting thank yous out to everyone. I apologize as it is not because we dont appreciate whats being done, but for some reason time slips away so fast!!! We will get them out! Thanks everyone for your patience with us!!! We appreciate each and every one of you!
