Headed to teach Hawaiian Language to my Japanese students- why? Because they make the effort and if I had to rely on Hawaiians to perpetuate their own language Hawaiian would be DEAD. You know who you are. Refer to my previous post regarding BSerz. If thats not motivation to get your shit together and your excuses extinguished just know- there are Japanese people who speak better Hawaiian than most Hawaiians AND who work hard, saving 10s of thousands of dollars to move thousands of miles away to another country JUST TO LEARN HAWAIIAN. Most of you Hawaiian jackasses cant even come down the street 30 miles to save your own language. That pisses me off. The ball is in your court and its a combination of not only YOUR silly, self-centered convenience, but a matter of choosing to place English vs Hawaiian first in your life. Also- you make time for the teacher and not the other way around. The Japanese know this and are presently the BEST Hawaiian language tutees Ive ever had. Far surpassing the multitude of Hawaiian blood excuse makers. Yet they want independence but cant even make the time to learn their own language. Figure that crap out. Hu hewa yeah? Assholes. You dont like the truth than prove me wrong. End.
