Heading down to the Sheraton Norfolk Waterside now to help chefs check in for tonights premier Passport to Norfolk Sister City Association event - a sampling of dishes from area restaurants inspired by one of Norfolks Sister Cities. Looking forward to global gourmet goodies from Bobbywood, CP Shuckers, Nawab, Still, Todd Jurichs Bistro, Press 626, Coastal Grill, Eurasia, Sheraton Norfolk Waterside, Swan Terrace, The Green Onion and Smalls Smokehouse. There will be a chefs choice, peoples choice and best themed award, and a critics choice that will allow the winning chef to cook at a diplomatic function for the French ambassador to the United States at his private residence in Washington DC! Judges this evening include myself, David Nicholson, Tammy Jaxtheimer, Marisa Marsey, George W. Culver, Steve Sadowski, Dedra Blount and Deon Foster. Look for a list of winners tomorrow! Now, which of my fabulous foodie friends will I see there tonight?!?!?
