Heading home tomorrow 4 weeks in home treatment kept the foot! Whew! Close one I wasnt feeling too confident being surrounded by dozens of amputees, and by God anyone who wants to dis the VA hasnt a clue of all the great folks who render care as well as receive it there, from the medical services teams, radiology,nuc medicine, infectious disease, surgical orthopedics, podiatry, to house keeping, and in particular all the great LPNS , RNs as well the many and varied doctors, and too last but not least all the great food service workers who treat each and every patient with respect, Ive not a single complaint, ( though some dessert would have been nice) Thank you for not only caring for me but all those elderly veterans, and young men and woman of our more recent wars , thank you for YOUR service.
