Heading out to Oklahoma for a few days. Even though its my home state, its not under the circumstances I wouldve liked. An amazing man, honest and simple, my moms dad, who I have the honor of calling my Pa, had passed away yesterday. Unfortunately I have not seen him in about 4 years because of living here in Delaware, but I still have so many memories and stories of him. From spending weekends to spending weeks at his house in the middle of nowhere there in the summer I will never forget him. But I try not to be sad cause of a philosophy I have to myself, Why be sad or cry about not being able to see them anymore or not make any new memories, when you can smile and be happy about all the old memories youve created with them that will live on. Hes up in a better place though, and he will stay in our familys hearts.
