Heading to Jakarta In few days with Beledo for a big festival full of moonjunista bands: Dewa Budjana Band, simakDialog, Ligro, Tesla Manaf, plus Dwiki Dharmawan who will debut on MoonJune next year (Beledo playing guitar in his band), and happy to see other 15 bands during the three days festival, among them the ultra talented pianist/keyboardist Sri Hanuraga, under heavy lunar observation for years. Jakarta is a fascinating city, dynamic, soulful, funky, multi-ethnic, cosmopolitan, and the friendliest megalopolis of any other megalopolis Ive visited, and except very few mega towns, I have visited virtually all major cities in the world. The city has a special magic, despite high pollution and the worst traffic in the universe, and one of the most exciting music scene in the world, in any and every kind of music, second only to Tokyo in the whole Asia.
