Headless Heroes is a groovy band that I ran across when looking for Daniel Johnston songs -- this is their version of his song True Love Will Find You in the End. I love it and I swear it sounds like it has a thermin in it (why oh why dont iTune songs list instruments???). From their MySpace page: Producers Eddie Bezalel and Hugo Nicolson launched Headless Heroes in 2008, aiming to record a covers-only album with several handpicked musicians. Nicolson drew upon his Los Angeles connections to assemble a group of studio instrumentalists -- including Josh Klinghoffer, Woody Jackson, Joey Waronker, Leo Abrahams, and Gus Seyffert -- while Bezalel searched for a proper vocalist via MySpace, eventually choosing Alela Diane. Under the producers supervision, the band recorded songs by the likes of Nick Cave, the Jesus and Mary Chain, Linda Perhacs, and the Gentle Soul. The finished product, The Silence of Love, was released in late 2008. ~ Andrew Leahey Jason Nodler -- what thinks you? Andy McWilliams -- this seems like your kind of thang. youtube/watch?v=SGW73w3jpkc https://myspace/denofheroes
