Headless bodies found off Koh Larn Island..!! Pattaya police said Thursday they are investigating the discovery of two unidentified decapitated bodies of a man and a woman in the sea near Koh Sak, along with an abandoned yacht nearby. Police were alerted by the locals to the discoveries at about 4pm. The body of a male was found in the sea about 500 metres off Koh Sak. The man was believed to have been dead for 10-15 days, said Pol Lt Supan Sophee, investigator at Pattaya police station. He was wearing a blue shirt with embroidered Thai wording that can be translated as 60th anniversary of Namsin Insurance and red underwear. There were two tattoos on his left thigh, one a chicken and another a tiger. The dead womans body was retrieved from the sea about one nautical mile from the male body. She was wearing a brown long-sleeved T-shirt and had an eagle tattoo on her left leg. Police could not yet determine the age and nationalities of the deceased. The bodies were sent to Police General Hospital in Bangkok for autopsy. Koh Sak is about 10 km west of Pattaya, and 600 metres from Koh Larn. It is a small island shaped like a horse shoe that covers an area of 0.05 sq km. Pol Lt Supan said members of the Pattaya city sea rescue unit spotted a large white yacht about 800 metres from where the womans body had been found. The yacht, Lagoon440, appeared to have been ransacked and its door had been locked from the outside. Witnesses told police they saw the boat dock in the area about 10 days before. Police will ask the Marine Department on Friday to help identify the owner of the yacht.
