Heads up! I have seen a couple of posts concerning Hoover Police Departments Zero Tolerance notice. Closer to home however.. If you take Grant Street in Eastern Valley, which connects with 4th Ave and Eastern Valley Road, it would be a good idea to First: slow the crap down. And Second: Pay attention to the stop sign on Grant Street and Hudson. Jefferson County is routinely watching this stop sign and they are often working in pairs of vehicles. This is a very settled residential area, there are many children in this community, and residents are complaining very much about the speed of the vehicles blowing through and the ignoring of the stop sign. People are throwing out their trash, along this route. It winds up in residents yards. The road is very narrow and the speed at which vehicles are travelling makes for a very bad scenario in such a tight corridor with so many kids in the neighborhood. So please be courteous and mindful as you use this route while you are out burning up liquid gold for whatever reason. Avoiding a ticket is a pretty simple thing to do.
