Heads up, guys. Today kicks off a week of major planetary alignments that will trigger the ongoing Uranus/Pluto square as well. What does this mean? Were moving through a powerful vortex of energy that may be confrontational or even volcanic. Tempers may flare, a long simmering issue may boil over, or we may be liberated from an oppressive situation. While this is high stress astrology, dont forget to be conscious as you navigate these rapids. Use it as a powerful opportunity transform and heal instead. First we have the conjunction — or merge — of Mars and Pluto in Capricorn. We only get this aspect once every two years and it last clocked in on November 27, 2012. Mars to Pluto means that our will (Mars) is in sync with Pluto (power, control) in Capricorn (command, ambition, status, and leadership). But with great power comes great responsibility. How will you use this energy? Pluto is also the planet of non-negotiable endings. Something about how we take charge and assert ourselves is coming to an end. Use this opportunity to say no to old patterns of behavior and self destructive tendencies. Mars will also square Uranus on Wednesday. Whenever a planet goes through the Uranus/Pluto square, it comes out the other side transformed in some way — or rather we are transformed because we realize that we cant keep doing things the way weve been doing them before.
