Heads up the Perth Gooners, Its always nice to have a World Cup to entertain us over rainy winter months but the new domestic season is not far away. For Arsenal it starts today with our 1st pre season friendly at Boreham Wood. With this in mind, I thought that it would be an ideal opportunity to start discussing what we want to do as a supporters club next season. For those of you that ordered Cup winners t shirts, they are at the printers and should arrive in plenty of time for the Charity Shield (payment details to follow soon) which will be our 1st match day event at The Carbon Bar. We will continue to discuss venues for match days, I still desire to find a venue where we can hang up our memorabilia but until that happens the Carbon Bar serves us well and to see the place packed with 300+ passionate Gooners on cup final night was a real buzz. So what else do you want to do next season? Graham Last has expressed an interest in brewing some beers and Maria Le Poidevin I know is keen for a pre season get together. It has been suggested that we have a pre season BBQ so we can have a family friendly event and get our junior Gunners involved. Some of you were asking to play football so maybe theres an opportunity to have a 5 a side competition or maybe even get an AA Perth team together and enter a league.
