Heads up to the HOMESTEAD subdivision and anyone who lives near GOOCH Lane in Madison! A dog is running loose on Prairie Drive so please drive carefully and keep an eye out for it. A kind Madison Police Officer rang my doorbell about a half hour ago asking if I knew about my neighbors dogs. They moved in this weekend so I dont. We managed to corral the two tiny dogs (Yorkie size) back into the yard and block the fence gap to keep them in but the officer originally saw 3 dogs. We did not find the 3rd dog which the officer said was bigger, maybe knee high. He doubted that dog could have escaped thru the fence gap so it may not belong to the same neighbors. UPDATE: The 3rd dog belongs to the neighbor as well. Max is a fluffy brown and white mutt about 14 years old. The neighbor said he will come if called but may be lost now since they just moved in.
