Headwaters Trails successfully cleared the Shiawassee River from Duffield Road to Byron. We hit the water a little after 9:30 and got out around 3:00, a bit longer day than we imagined. There were several large trees in the water that took a lot of work to clear. Afterward, Ricky Ostrowski graciously had us over to his house for a meal. Many thanks to Ricky Ostrowski, Dennis Terry, Bruce Allen, Rex Mathewson, Karen Monetta, Kay, Lisa, Tom Landers, and Terry Reechko for all the work put into this effort.
