Healing Is Still For Us Today! Who will believe this report? Isaiah writes in Isaiah 53 He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, And By His Stripes We Are Healed. The Healed! Yes healing is still for us today. Isaiah was writing 700 years before the Messiah shows up. Just by Isaiah prophesying that Jesus the Christ would come on earth would bring healing, yes, one could be and receive healing even then. 700 years later we find recorded in Matthew 8:17...at evening time, they brought to Him (speaking of Jesus) many who were demon- possessed, And He cast out the spirits with a word, And Healed All Who Were Sick, That He might fulfill the scripture Isaiah had boldly prophesied 700 years earlier. You are the Healed. Jesus was healing based on a word spoken by the prophet Isaiah declaring that the Messiah would come and be beaten and crucified, and resurrecting. Jesus became the ultimate sacrifice for sin and sickness. Jesus purchased healing for you with His life. Jesus, 700 years later is fulfilling that word that Isaiah, the prophet had spoken and He hadnt even been to the cross and the crucifixion or rose from the dead yet. You could have healing before Jesus came, while Jesus was here on earth and now on the other side of the cross. The Healed is Who You Are Peter writes in 1 Peter 2:24 ...who Himself (Jesus) bore our sins in His own body on the tree, (the cross) that we having died to sins might live unto righteousness-by His stripes (His beatings, crucifixion and resurrection.) You Were Healed. The word were means already done. Yes, Healing is for us today. You could be healed before the Messiah Jesus came, while He was here and after His death burial and resurrection. Healing Is For Us Today! I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me.
