Health Update: I thought it appropriate to share my progress with all those who have been so faithful in prayer and support during my recovery. Surgery was Sept. 29. Eight hours in OR. Came home on Oct 4. Heres the picture: All swelling gone, taking only over-the-counter Tylenol and then only about once a day, walking my little four-legged buddy daily, great appetite, sleeping well, bodily functions normal, strength returning. I think I will at this time insert: PRAISE THE LORD! That felt good. I am constantly aware of His presence and the reality that even though He has blessed the medical community in wondrous ways, ALL healing comes from Him. The Word says that we are fearfully and wonderfully made. Right in the creative process He lovingly included this wonderful capacity for our bodies to heal (we would have long ago disappeared without it) And, I hasten that He answers the fervent prayers of His righteous children. I have been made acutely aware during this time of the goodness of this organism we call the Body of Christ- the Church. I love my church and am eternally grateful for your loving sacrifices for me and my family, all in the Name above every name, our Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you and may He bless you in your journey.
