Health update - Met with oncologist today. 1 month out from surgery. Currently at 128 lbs (a little gain from 2 weeks ago). All staples out now. Taking a few months of recovery before first CT scan. Going to determine whether chemo becomes a necessity again in 6 months (dependent upon scan results). Considering a third surgery either a year or year and a half from now to get the rest. - These plans, of course, are ALWAYS subject to change as we move forward. Still hoping immune system and whatever other processes help reduce tumors on their own and render chemotherapy unnecessary. Thats my specific hope. I do NOT want to go back to that.
