Healthy Companies Promote a Healthy Market A study by HealthNEXT, a developer of workforce health strategies based in Philadelphia, has demonstrated a relationship between the health of a company’s employees and the company’s performance in the stock market. The study evaluated companies that were recognized for their approach to occupational health and safety. These companies were commended with the American College of Occupational Medicine’s Corporate Health Achievement Award and outperformed the S&P 500 from 1997 to 2012.
