Healthy Mama’s Homemade Sugar Free Pectin Free Strawberry Jam Ingredients: 2 cups fresh, juicy strawberries (time to go strawberry picking or to your local farmer’s market) 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice (or to taste) 2 tablespoons ground flax seeds (more if you like your jam thicker) Directions: In a food processor pulse half of the strawberries with the fresh lemon juice and ground flax seeds together (about three pulses). Add the remaining strawberries and pulse until desired consistency is reached. (Fewer pulses for a chunkier jam, more for a smoother consistency.) Store in an air tight container in the fridge overnight to allow the jam to set and enjoy the next day. Add more ground flax seeds if you prefer a thicker jam. Flax seeds can also be replaced with chia seeds if you prefer. Enjoy!
