Healthy Nutrition & Fitness is !!!UP!!! I have to say that today I had a real uplifting day showing that I’m on the right track with my health & fitness, and helping others. (1st) while taking my wife Kim to an appointment in my athletic wear as I was walking ahead of her since ummm she was smoking camel sheet. “Yes we are the original odd couple because I cannot stand cigarettes!” While scratching my back I was walking by this guy that was talking on his cell phone. My wife told me that he said to whom he was on the phone with, “Damn you should see this dude that just walked by me, you can tell that he works out with his biceps bigger than both of my arms and he’s much older than me too, man I need to get my azz into the gym! Just goes to show me that even though I don’t see my own progress that it takes a total stranger to allow me to know that I’m more near my goals of being fit again than I thought since my brain surgery earlier this year. “But I’m taking it to the next level of being fitter than ever before!” Yes, I’m a Personal Trainer but I owe it all to a workout program with the company that I work with that a dear friend of mine (Donna Medieros) gave to me. I just choose to use the program that I’ve learned everything from that uses key concepts with a different approach to building mass in the gym that I go to because “The gym has always been my therapy to help me deal with the loss of my son for 6 years now.” If you would like to know more information about this workout program just let me know through a private message and I will help you live a healthy, fit, and fulfilling life. (2nd) While at the gym today I ran into a younger friend of mine that I met a year ago before I became critically ill at that, whom I will hold her name in confidence not public. Back then she was having a hard time with her nutrition & fitness and was about to give in & give up trying to lose about 60 lbs. I winded up introducing myself to her & talked for a few hours about my weight loss, and health & fitness journey showing her my portfolio album of my journey up to date including my recent event earlier this year, and yes I even showed her my pants! !!!LOL!!! And shirt as well that I always carry around with me to motivate others. Today she not only lost all that weight but is in the fittest condition of her entire life, and then some! She is so fit that she is getting ready to compete in her first fitness competition! I am so incredibly proud of her, and yes I will be there for support yelling to the top of my lungs for her! This goes to show me that I’m within no reason of doubt on the right track of influencing others to not only be healthy & fit, but instead of just settling for losing all your weight to take it to the next level by getting fitter than ever before with lean muscle mass. Something that I owe to a great friend of mine (Brandan Fokken) as well whom is a “National Bodybuilder, Competitor, Fitness Model, and Personal Trainer as well.” With his help and support he has literally shown me exactly what I’m doing today as I have done with others. About the vital importance of building lean mass is so important to all of us, especially those of us that lose some weight or extreme weight as myself. That why just settle for getting healthier, or for the weight loss to take it up to a new level building lean mass or into body building as what I am doing now. It does not matter if you’re a woman or man, in order to keep your unwanted weight off you simply must build lean muscle mass to keep that weight off for the rest of your life! “Because lean muscle mass increases your metabolism and shreds fat for dinner!” Talk about hot flashes, but the good kind!!! Tonight’s Dinner: Cashew Chicken with Snow Peas & Brown Rice, side of Romaine Lettuce, sliced tomato, cucumber and balsamic vinaigrette (No Pic) !!!BAM!!! Today’s Workout: I did a 2 hour total body workout with free weights, kettlebells, and cable crossover weights. Plus 30 minutes of HIT (High Interval Training) Cardio. So what are you waiting for? “GIVE YOUR HEART A BREAK & GET HEALTHY AND FIT!” !!!!!!!WHATEVER IT TAKES YOU GOT TO BRING IT!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!BOOM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
