Healthy criticism is always a welcome development and a hallmark of an ideal democracy, but when criticism degenerates into pure propaganda and blackmail, it leaves nothing to be desired of. Nigerian experimental democracy could have gained much from a strong opposition considering the length of time PDP has been in power. Unfortunately, APC is losing a wonderful opportunity to bring about this necessary good by its penchant at cheap and doctored anti-Jonathan campaign, hoping it would swerve the gullible electorate, particularly, in its dogged mission to bring down the government. As I see it, this strategy is failing big time. Poor APC ! Change, they say, is constant, but the alternative Nigerians may seek is not, even at its irreducible minimum, represented by what APC is saying and doing. For now, APC should go back to the drawing board and hopefully come out in 2019 with a card that will sell. Nigerians are good at waiting and so are waiting patiently until then. GOD BLESS THE PRESIDENT AND THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA.
