Healthy fats (those that are liquid at room temperature), are essential for a healthy immune system, skin, brain & GI tract. Dietary fat is necessary for the absorption of vitamins A,D,E, K & and antioxidants like beta carotene & lycopene. Add walnut oil to your salad. Drizzle EVOO on vegetables. Have an almond butter & apple sandwich. Scoop some guacamole with whole wheat pita chips & carrot sticks.
