Hear Ye, Hear Ye ..... WE NEED VOLUNTEERS...MTG THIS SUNDAY Only 77 days till the County of Brown Renaissance Faire creates an atmosphere of A step back in history! This is the third year and every year we try to become more authentic and create a family experience to remember by day, and an evening of Mischief and Mayhem at night. We could not achieve what we have so far without the help and devotion of our volunteers, you are so appreciated. This year we need volunteers September 12th for set up, September 13 & 14 for the Faire itself, and for events leading up to the weekend. I know that those of you who have volunteered in past years have enjoyed creating your character and sharing it with those you encounter. This year we are pleased to have the ability to help you do that. Below you will find what is expected of our volunteers and what we are excited to offer you. Other talents we are searching for are creative, in making banners, signs, backdrops, many of these items will be used year after year. Please pass this on to anyone you think may be interested in sharing their talents with their community. We are open to any suggestions you may have,,,and please know that without you we could not do this for the community. We are hoping that our volunteers know they are apart of our County of Brown Renaissance Family! Melody Jerabek (920-360-4747) Guidelines for Volunteers for the County of Brown Renaissance Faire Sept 13 & 14th 1. All volunteer must be dressed in clothing of the Renaissance Period. (If you are unsure of what that is, or where you can find a costume at a reasonable price, we will help you.) 2. Volunteers working the Faire are asked to work a 4hr shift both days of the Faire Saturday and Sunday . (This is to help with the consistency of the help, and to have committed workers, who love to play and have fun! Those who volunteer become part of the Renaissance Family and it is an honor to share with the community your talents) 3. It is highly recommended that you attend a Renaissance workshop Sunday, June 29, or July 19 or 20th You can attend either workshop, 3pm at the Mustardseed Café in Belleuve. The workshop will help you with language, role playing , costumes, and education about the period. Believe me, it is a fun experience, and will makes role playing even more fun! 4.There are other opportunities for you to help the Faire. Example: Art Street, the Wednesday Farmers Market,,,Saturday Farmers Market the weeks closer to the event. This is a great time practice and play in costume! 5. The day of the Faire, you will have free parking, free admittance to the Faire, and a Villagers Dinner at 4pm each evening. 6. When you let me know that you are interested in sharing your talent and helping to build this family friendly event, I will contact you, to answer any questions you may have. 7. We are asking all volunteers to sign a commitment agreement. This will provide us with all your information needed to organizing volunteer time and skills.
